Cloud is a blend of baby alpaca, silk, merino, and yak, spun to a fine lace weight, with a natural grey base from the yak that gives dyed colours a rich, sophisticated depth. The alpaca halo gives Cloud its airy, three-dimensional texture, fuller and softer than a typical lace, while a silk core runs through the centre, luminous and bright against the softer, greyer halo around it. Astonishingly light in the hand yet warm to wear, Cloud is suited to delicate shawls and layering pieces, or held together with Driftwood Fingering for a fingering-weight yarn with its own soft halo.
