About Our Yarns
Our yarns are chosen with purpose. Some are rare — yak, camel — fibres that offer new experiences in knitting. Others may seem familiar but are exceptional: a merino spun with more bounce than you’d expect, a cashmere blend with a softness that surprises. Every fibre takes colour differently, holds warmth differently, feels different in the hand. We chose them because there’s something genuinely unique in each one. This is what we look for. This is what we hope you’ll feel.
Opal
A unique blend of baby camel and mulberry silk, available in lace and fingering weight. Camel, rich and golden, even before it’s touched by dye, a long, fine fibre, sleek to look at, and sleeker still to hold. Every colour coming alive warmly. Amber and sun-soaked, glowing from within. Silk brings its own coolness to meet that warmth. Together, they move. Enveloping. Weightless. Camel and silk, drinking colour, glowing as a single shade. Warm, sleek, gliding beneath your hand, a richness once reserved for emperors. Softness as its own luxury. Opal is warmth you can hold. Our richest, softest yarn.”
Pearl
A blend of yak and silk, fine fingering weight. Yak’s dark, natural base absorbs colour with jewel-like intensity, deep and luminous. Silk captures light at the surface, bright, cool, reflective. The alchemy of these two fibres, each with its own extraordinary character, creating something magical. Colours shifting in the light as you turn the skein in your hand, and a softness that lingers, in your hand, in your mind, staying with you long after you’ve set it down, the kind you find yourself reaching for again and again. Pearl is concentrated luxury: our finest yarn, for pieces to treasure.

Driftwood
A blend of merino, silk, and yak in fingering and DK weight. Yak darkens everything with an outsized voice — pulling the skein toward something deeper than merino could manage alone. Silk adds gentle lustre; merino, bounce and resilience. Our DK is plied, structured, textured in the hand. On our single-ply fingering, colours settle with depth of movement, pooling quietly within the strand. Driftwood is the most versatile base we offer. A yarn with character and movement, honest in the hand, familiar enough to pick up without thinking. A limited run of three-ply fingering is available: a warm, resilient yarn with genuine character.
Cedar
Cedar is superfine merino at its most luxurious, a remarkably fine 17 micron fibre spun with a bold, beautiful twist that gives it real loft and bounce. It’s plush in the hand and stays that way, soft without being precious. Best loved for the pieces you want to feel against your skin: cowls, shawls, accessories, and the occasional sweater for those who don’t mind a little extra plush. Available in fingering and DK weight..
Arbutus
Arbutus brings superfine cashmere into the mix, blended here with fine merino and a touch of nylon for strength. The cashmere lends a different kind of luxury, a lingering, silky softness, while the nylon keeps it sturdy enough for the things you’ll wear and wash often. This is the yarn for socks that last, for accessories you reach for again and again. Available in fingering weight.
Fern
BFL (Bluefaced Leicester), fingering weight. Sturdy with a soft halo and a subtle sheen, Fern holds colour brightly and beautifully, with a personality all of its own, a good choice for textured stitches and projects that need to last.
Shimmer
Subtle threads of glittering Stellina woven through merino and cashmere, catching glimmers of light. A quiet kind of sparkle, just enough to make something feel right for a special occasion: an evening wrap, a delicate shawl, the accessory that finishes an outfit. Available in fingering weight.
