On BFL Fingering, the Bluefaced Leicester gives Ember Tide a natural lustre and a more textured hand than the merino bases. The longwool fibre has genuine character, less refined, more rustic. The red reads clear and true, with good stitch definition and resilience. A different kind of luxury.

Machine washable on a gentle wool cycle, or hand wash in cool water. Lay flat to dry, away from direct sunlight.
Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches, so subtle variations in colour and saturation are part of the character of these yarns. For larger projects, we recommend purchasing skeins from the same dye lot where possible, noted on the label, or alternating between lots as you work for the most even result.
